- D, d as d in dock

- F, f as f in fire

- H, h as h in hat

- K, k as k in key

- L, l as l in lazy

- M, m as m in mouse

- N, n as n in nature

- P, p as p in power

- S, s as s in silence

- Ć, ć vs. Č, č are usually hard to distinguish and pronounce for
foreigners.

- Č, č is similar to Ć but harder, like ch in church

- DŽ, dž vs. Đ, đ are usually hard to distinguish and pronounce for
foreigners.

- Đ, đ as g in gentle

- DŽ, dž is similar to Đ but harder, like J in Jack
